Another bonus of an outdoor space is decorating your deck for the holidays! With holiday season nearly upon us, here are some ideas you can use when it comes to decorating for the holidays. 

Halloween

During the spooky season of Halloween, decorations can be fun and festive or frightfully delightful. Adding pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns to your deck is a classic way to add some festive decorations. Of course, take the proper precautions when it comes to candles, as this can be a fire hazard. Other decorations such as witches and black cats, gravestones, and ghosts can easily be added to make your house be decorated for Halloween. You can even add orange string lights for a bit of added fun! 

Thanksgiving 

During the season of giving thanks, your outdoor space can be the perfect place to spend time with loved ones. One way to decorate for Thanksgiving is to add fall colors to your outdoor space. From adding throw pillows and blankets to furniture to adding turkey decorations, be sure to add colors such as oranges, browns, yellows and other fall colors. 

Christmas

Decorating your home for Christmas is perhaps one of the most exciting things about this holiday, and decorating your outdoor space is no exception! You’ll certainly want to add lots of green and red decorations which can easily be accomplished with pillows, blankets and table cloths if you have outdoor furniture. Setting out a mini christmas tree and a wreath with ornaments is another great way to add some Christmas cheer. Don’t forget to add colorful string lights outside as well!
