Senior Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Customer Liaison for all questions or concerns related to the project. Must present a professional and calm manner to all customers.
  • Coordinates with the contract coordinator on pricing estimations for all projects, before seeking approval from the president of the company.
  • Schedule projects immediately after deposit has been received and notify the Field Supervisor to prepare for a visit before assigning employees to the project.
  • Manage coordination and scheduling of all subcontractors during project phases including pre-construction, construction, and post construction.
  • Confirm customers’ availability (a week prior) to project date, before assigning project to employees. Provide a 24-hour deadline for confirmation from the customer.
  • Respond to all emails or text messages within 24-48 hours upon receipt and always cc’ the team. Urgent matters (i.e change orders) must respond immediately to determine the next steps.
  • Organize and run all on and off-site project meetings with internal project team and all required contractors.
  • Communicate with the direct report or general contractor, when a project cannot be completed immediately after recognizing an issue, during project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Must ensure to communicate with the direct report regarding any safety violations made by an employee.
  • Develop and implement project plans. Includes but not limit forms and using work order forms and/or material forms, and ensuring accuracy in all documents related to the project.
  • Perform all necessary submittal,RFI’s , change orders, and mark ups of all documents.
  • Communicate with the direct report on a daily or weekly basis (up to direct report discretion), on the status of each project.
  • Evaluate and prepare materials needed to complete the project with Field Supervisor (day before starting a project or sooner – depending on the project)
  • Ensure project updates are communicated with the direct report and updated in the internal system (CRM) by the end of day – includes uploading photos of the project
  • Assist in managing the overall costs of project funds to maintain profitable gain and budget costs.
  • Project manage our internal “Projects” software to ensure all projects are updated daily.
  • Able to concentrate on details, work under deadline pressures, apply sound logic and judgment, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
  • Must be customer-service oriented, able to take direction from management, and
  • maintain good order and discipline through the chain of command as appropriate.
  • Must be able to focus and multi-task in a busy environment, with the ability to successfully handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner. Profanity is not acceptable and having personal conversations with customers, such as religion, issues, etc., is not acceptable.
  • Must visit the project site when a claim report is submitted. Provide a follow-up email to customers and update the CRM system (for internal use).
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Construction Bookkeeper

Our company is currently seeking a Construction Bookkeeper to join our team! You will be responsible for performing a range of accounting and financial duties to support the financial functions of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
  • Maintain budget spreadsheets for analysis of actual performance against budget. Estimate vs. actual.
  • Job Costing-Compute and record numerical data
  • Check the accuracy of business transactions
  • Prepare required reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform data entry and administrative duties
  • Performs other related duties as assigned management.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields.
  • Prior experience working in a construction company.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
